DHS shooting victim expected to survive
A 21-year-old man shot in Desert Hot Springswas hospitalized today with stable vital signs, a police spokesman said.
The shooting was reported about 9:50 p.m. Monday in the 13300 block ofVerbena Drive, according to Desert Hot Springs police.
The victim was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center. No arrests wereannounced. Police Cmdr. Dan Bressler said detectives were at the scene andfollowing up on leads.
