Child taken to the hospital after being pulled from pool
A toddler is expected to recover after nearly drowning Thursday at a community pool on Del Lago Court in Indio.
Officials say the 3-year old was underwater before being pulled out of the pool.
The child was breathing and was taken to the hospital for observation.
Cal Fire says it’s a reminder that drowning is preventable and parents need to be careful heading into the hot summer months.
