Summer Golf Tips: Bunkering Down with Buried Lie
Rick Ruppert, Desert Horizons Country Club head golf professional demonstrates how to hit out of the bunker with a buried lie.
With the buried lie or fried egg, Ruppert says you need to dig the ball out. In order to that, you close the face of the wedge to have the leading edge digging but hold the grip lightly so that once the club digs, it’ll turn the ball in the sand and throw it out in the air.
