Two Arizona men arrested for attempted murder near Twentynine Palms

Two Arizona men were arrested Sunday morning for attempted murder after repeatedly ramming a truck into a patrol car.

San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies arrested David Jensen and Ulyess Grant Way on Highway 62 near Wonder Valley after pulling the two men over for a vehicle code violation.

That’s when deputies say Way put the truck in reverse, slamming it into a patrol vehicle and taking off.
During the chase, Jensen threw large items out of the window.

Way ultimately lost control of the truck, getting stuck on a dirt embankment.

During the arrest, deputies found more than $10,000 worth of copper stolen from a business in Twentynine Palms.
