First Alert Weather Alert for gusty winds this weekend

A Wind Advisory goes into effect at 6 p.m. this evening in anticipation of powerful winds that could impact travel and air quality.

Gusty winds increase in the wind prone areas this evening, with stronger winds more likely tomorrow afternoon and evening.

This is all the result of a strong low pressure system dropping in from the North, enhancing winds and even bringing a small chance of spotty showers overnight Saturday.

Our First Alert Weather Alert will be in place until 9 a.m. Sunday, then we see improving conditions while keep those cooler than normal conditions!
