Dani Romero

Dani Romero is a News Reporter for KESQ News Channel 3. She joined our team in September 2019 after interning in the summer with us.

Dani graduated from Baylor University, with a degree in Business Administration concentrating in finance. After graduation, she spent a year managing the wealth of high-profile celebrities before transitioning into a career in journalism. 

Dani has a passion for connecting with the community, which led her to become an on-air personality for a local radio station in Ventura County, 99.1 The Ranch. She decided to go back to school and take journalism classes at Moorpark College. There she became involved with the schools newspaper and started reporting on local news. After her spring semester, she began her internship at KESQ. She quickly fell in love covering the local news here in the desert and worked her way up to reporting. 

Dani loves meeting new people and traveling. She enjoys spending time with family, trying out new recipes and watching her Baylor bears. Sic’em! 

She loves to hear from viewers, whether it’s to say hello, pitch a story idea or a new recipe to try.
