Rep. Raul Ruiz casts his ballot in the recall election

Local Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz cast his ballot for the recall election on Tuesday.

The Congressman is encouraging people to vote no.

"Yeah, we need to tell our family, we need to tell our friends. we need to go around our block knock on doors, to get out and vote. We need to really raise the alarm right now because this is not the time to be complacent," Ruiz said.

He cast his vote at Palm Desert city hall.
