Riverside Officer Michael Crain Remembered

Family and friends are mourning the death of Riverside Police Officer Michael Crain as the search for Christopher Dorner continues.

A Marine, Crain served two tours of duty in the Middle East.He also served 11 years with the Riverside Police Department. People who knew Officer Crain remember him having a big heart.

Crain is a Southern California native who lived in Beaumont and grew up in Redlands where he played football and graduated from Redlands High School in 1996.

He leaves behind a wife, a 10-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at the Grove Community Church in Riverside.

Robert Webster — who went to school and played football with Officer Crain — works with us here at Gulf-California Broadcast Company.
