Congressman Ruiz marries longtime girlfriend
Congressman Ruiz has married his longtime girlfriend Monica Rivers.
The couple was married in late March at a small, private and intimate ceremony in the Coachella Valley, according to a release from Dr. Ruiz on Monday.
“My bliss and gratitude to God is beyond words. I married my best friend, my confidant, and my soul mate Monica Ruiz,” said Dr. Ruiz. “We look forward to joining our life adventures and starting a family in our beautiful desert home in the Coachella Valley. Thank you to our friends, family, and community for your love, prayers, and well wishes for Monica and me throughout this special and exciting time in our lives.”
Dr. Ruiz proposed to Monica in December 2013 at sunrise in Joshua Tree National Park.
