Nine-Year-Old Hit By Elusive Snowboarder
BIG BEAR – A 9-year-old girl is recovering from a broken leg and facial injuries she suffered when a snowboarder hit her on the slopes of Bear Mountain Ski Resort, last week.
Police say it happened on January 2nd as the snowboarder was making his way down the slopes. Now, they need your help finding him.
He’s described as a white man, 25-30 years old, about 5’10” to 6’2″ tall, wearing a black and white jacket, black pants, and using a black snowboard. Authorities worked with the girl’s family to produce a composite sketch of the suspect.
The Big Bear Sheriff’s Station is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone having information regarding the collision or identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station at (909) 866-0100.
