Driver crashes truck into tree in Palm Springs
A woman knocked down a tree after crashing a pickup truck inside a Stater Bros parking lot in Palm Springs Friday morning.
The crash happened shortly before 10 a.m. at Sunrise Way and Vista Chino.
The tree fell at the entrance of the parking lot, between McDonalds and Taco Bell. The tree was blocking the entrance but no other roads were affected. Witnesses said at least one person was taken to the hospital.
The Palm Springs Police Department is investigating the collision. There was no further information released about the driver of the truck.
