Linda H. Malkas, Ph.D., professor of molecular and cellular biology at City of Hope, a leading research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.
She will share her knowledge on the future of cancer care at the 14th Annual Leonore Annenberg Lecture, presented by the Annenberg Health Sciences Building.
Dr. Malkas has had a stellar scientific career, advancing research in women’s health with a particular focus on breast cancer.
She is best known for her discovery of a molecule that can inhibit certain activities in cancerous cells.
