Residente de Indio pierde miles de dólares al ser víctima de robo

INDIO, Calif. (KUNA) – Una residente de Indio fue víctima de robo de vehículo, pese a que la policía de la ciudad reportó una baja en el índice de siniestralidad. Según nos comentó Abraham Plata, sargento de la policía, el año pasado de enero a octubre se reportaron 208 carros robados, a comparación de este año que fueron 107, casi un 50% menos. “Muchos de esas clases de casos tienen mucha relación con fraude, donde los dueños ya no querían el carro,  por alguna razón no lo pueden pagar ya”, señaló Plata.
