Water bottle fight leads to six-vehicle crash on I-10 near Washington Street

Two motorists throwing water bottles at each other’s vehicles caused a six-vehicle crash today on Interstate 10 near Palm Desert, authorities said. The non-injury crash was reported at about 8 a.m. in the westbound direction, west of the Washington Street off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
