Investigation underway after human remains are found inside a burning vehicle in the East Valley

IID reports Coachella power outage

The Imperial Irrigation District reported a power outage that was impacting 1,412 customers in Coachella Monday morning. The utility said crews were working on restoring the power and rain fell throughout the area.
