Rainy Conditions Force Flight Cancellations

“Getting up at 5:30 A.M. is not fun if it doesn’t get you anywhere,” said Catherine Wilkins as she awaited her flight to San Francisco this morning.

Several disappointed passengers at the Palm Springs International Airport this morning as a winter storm canceled flights to and from San Francisco.

“Crappy weather between San Francisco and here, how are they going to get here..it’s foggy this time of year in San Francisco,” said Carie Duncan.

The cancellations effecting flights only between Palm Springs and San Francisco.

“Flying to San Francisco from here is always a delay. I thought maybe id get on at noon or something. and this isn’t year round this isn’t normal. just going into San Francisco but flying out from here to other places is not too bad,” said Chloe Rayos.

Flights to San Francisco are canceled for the rest of the day forcing some local residents to change their plans.

“They said we can get on another flight tomorrow but I doubt I can get another doctors appointment that fast,” said Wilkins.

If you have a flight planned to Northern California through Palm Springs check the current flight status before heading to the airport.
