The weekend heats up a bit

Highs hit 97 yesterday and we’ll continue to incremental warming into tomorrow. This morning an area of low pressure to our North is dropping some thunderstorms from Vegas in to the High Desert of SoCal. Highs top out near 103 tomorrow, close to seasonal norms, and then a slight cooling trend into early next week.

Winds are expected to remain through tonight but will be weaker than yesterday’s winds. Winds will be especially breezy in wind prone areas like the San Gorgonio pass and along the I-10 corridor with gusts that could reach over 30-40 mph.
