Cool & pleasant through week’s end

A large trough of low pressure riding the Pacific Coast continues to bring cooler-than-normal temperatures and will for the remainder of the week. As firefighters continue to gain more containment of area wildfires, the Smoke Advisory from the South Coast Air Quality Management District continues to shrink, with only a few areas of concern remaining.

Gusty & cooler than normal

Temps remain well below average today, as was the case yesterday when highs only hit 88. An area of low pressure developing along the Northern Pacific coast will keep us below normal through the bulk of the week. Most of the Western U.S. will feel the cooler temps today through Thursday.
